Early 1900's Antique Homer Laughlin Hudson Dinnerware (Service for Four)

This SERVICE FOR FOUR includes each of the following:

(4) 9 1/8" Dinner Plates,

(4) 8 1/4" Luncheon Plates,

(4) 7 3/8" Plates, and

(4) Coffee CUP & SAUCER SETS.

The set is nearing 100 years old or already past there. The charming Hudson shape was one of Laughlin's first and was initiated in 1908 and then discontinued in 1928. There were many designs and decals applied to this shape--this design is one of several different gold floral patterns. The different designs in the Hudson shape went unnamed as was very common for Laughlin.

As with most early ironstone pieces there are minor blemishes under the glaze that came from the manufacturer. There is crazing on most of the pieces typical for their age which adds to their charm. The gold floral pattern remains intact. There are no chips, cracks or breaks which is really quite something concerning their age! This lovely white and gold set of antique dinnerware is perfectly elegant but yet simply beautiful and will set quite a romantic table whether used within the chic cottage decor or anywhere vintage is appreciated.

Two matching platters, a serving bowl, and a few other odd pieces are available and listed separately.
