Large Mid-Century Cased Glass Vase
This large blown glass vase has a smoothed pontil at the base and a folded or pinched handkerchief style top. Color erupts from the dark (almost black) base; first a very dark green, then yellow, then orange... like molten lava. Perfect with Mid Century or 1960's and 70's decor. Bubbles at the base extend upward for several inches through the color changes. The vase is in Excellent Condition. A bit weighty, a little over 3 pounds, and measures 11" tall by 8" across the mouth at the widest point. The vase holds a full bouquet quite nicely if desired.
