Victorian Footed Milk Glass Creamer & Open Sugar

Both of these lovely Victorian Milk Glass pieces are footed, gilded, and ornate! Each piece has a scroll and heart pattern that is painted in the burnished gold. The paint on both of these pieces is 99% intact or perhaps as intact as it's ever been. Just above the four feet, there is a thin row of beading that surrounds each of them. They are oval instead of round which also gives them a unique appeal. They measure 3 3/4" tall. As is typical of the milk glass of this era, the edges are characteristically not smooth. I have found a chip in the rim of the open sugar that is not readily noticed because of the inherent unevenness of the edges of the glass. This is the only flaw I have found on either piece! The small milk pitcher has an angled handle with the decorative beading and a wide lip. Gorgeous examples of early milk glass!
