Johnson Brothers Blue Nordic Cereal Bowl

J&G Meakin's popular Blue Nordic Pattern crossed over to Johnson Brothers in the late 1970's. Often, a consumer won't be able to detect the manufacturer of this blue onion type of pattern until turning it over and looking at the makers mark. The differences found between Meakin and Johnson Brother's pieces in Blue Nordic are most often found in the shapes of the larger serving pieces.

This square cereal size bowl carries the Johnson Brothers name though many of the square pieces were also made by Meakin. The bowl is free of nicks, chips, cracks or crazing. It measures 6 1/4" from straight side to straight side and 6 1/2" from corner to corner.

This single bowl by Johnson Brothers is the only Johnson Brothers Blue Nordic available in my shop at this time. You may wish to see the J & G Meakin Blue Nordic in this shop though.
