This interesting Valentine postcard depicts a large heart adorned with hardware and a lock and surrounded bgy lovely roses. The verse on the front says: "You think your heart secure. Against bold Cupid's darts; But don't you be too sure. The lad hath many arts. Some scheme of his will work, He's sly, his tricks are fine, Beware, a dart may lurke; In this gay Valentine."
The edge of the card is quite interesting with a narrow silver border, then a row of tiny hearts, then a rope with a bow at each corner and then another silver border.
This card is embossed and has a shield shaped logo that has a large M in the center and A and P on the sides, with Co. at the bottom. I am not familiar with this maker. The card is unused and is in very good condition with only very slight corner wear. What a delightful card!
