This delightful children's book is a tale of Janos Andy who sold his violin to pay his passage to America. He arrives in America with high spirits and the desire to marry a real princess. In New York Janos overcomes enormous obstacles and overcomes them with Chaplinesque innocence. Read on about how he finally obtains a violin and how his dreams come true. The book, which is a stated First Edition, has a 1972 copyright date. It was published by Harp3er & Row and illustrated by Ezra Jack Keats. What a wonderful and inspiring tale!
