This is a wonderful vintage nursery rhyme postcard. It depicts a precious boy in his Little Lord Fauntleroy outfit of red, gray, and white. He has a jaunty feather in his hat. The rooster is sitting on the fence telling the handsome young man: "Cock-a-doodle-doo, my dame has lost her shoe, My Master lost his fiddle-stick, And don't know what to do." The card has a white lacy border with gold.
This embossed postcard has a pencil written message on the back and is addressed. It has been mailed, has a canceled one-cent stamp, and a cancellation mark from Steelton, Pa., Feb 8, 1911. The card is in very good condition with some corner bumping. These Nursery Rhyme postcards are rather hard to find. Don't miss this one.
