This card shows two adorable children playing musical instruments, a tuba and a horn. The little boy has on a sailor suit, with the collar tinted maroon. The little girl has on a pretty frilly dress and the trim and her hair bow have been hand tinted. A basket of flowers sits next to each child, again hand tinted.
This is a P.M.E. card number 5221/1. The card has been mailed and the message and address are in French. There are two postal marks, The message is dated 1912.
This card is in outstanding condition, with the only flaw being a little postal ink at the bottom of the girl's dress and onto the side of the boy's pants. I didn't even notice it until I started listing the card. My photograph seems to exaggerate it.
What a sweet and unique card.
