George Washington Postcard - Adopting the Five Pointed Star

This unique embossed postcard shows George Washington and Betsy Ross. She is sewing the flag and holding a five pointed star for Washington's approval.

This card was used and has a cancelled one-cent stamp. The postmark is from Omaha & Ogden P.O. and the date is Feb 20, 1909. This card is in very good vintage condition with some edge and corner wear to the gold background.

A rather unusual political/patriotic postcard.
