This vintage postcard shows the steamer St. Claire out of Windsor, Ontario, Canada. The card tells us that this is the largest passenger steamer plying between Windsor Canada and Detroit Michigan. This boat is also used in excursion trips to Bob-Lo Island, the amusement park on the Detroit River.
There is a cameo of the Canadian and British flags in the upper right hand corner of the card.
This card has a written message and address on the back and was mailed from Windsor Ontario on June 4, 1934. There is a canceled two-cent Canadian stamp.
The card is in good vintage condition with some edge and corner wear and some postal ink on the left upper edge.
