Gabby Hayes Tall Tales for Little Folks - Bonnie Book
This is a rare and unique book! It is a Bonnie Jack-in-the-box book that features Western star Gabby Hayes. The book was published by Samuel Lowe Company in 1954. Inside the front cover of the book are heavy cardboard swing out pieces that are Gabby's head and boots. I use a scanner so could not get the whole thing on my screen. Please see pictures--I think you can get the idea. When you page through the book you have Gabby as a cowboy, animal trainer, pirate, King Cole, Royal Canadian Mountie, Santa, and astronaut. What a hoot!

This book is in good vintage condition with the following notations: there bumps and paper loss along the edges of the covers and there are creases in the "boots"--I'm sure from use. The pages are all in fine condition with no creasing, tearing, soiling, or discoloration. They almost look unused. Overall a very good copy of this hard-to-find book.
