Set of 11 IMARI Porcelain Steak Knives by ROYAL CROWN DERBY...Plus One Cake Knife. The knives have Sheffield blades. The knives were made in England. Which is a nice feature is that the Imari design on porcelain handles are duel sided...that is they feature a Imari design with a white ground on one side and the reverse side features a black ground. each of the two sides feature a different design. The painting on the handles are in mint condition; the porcelain handles have one hairline crack. I did not notice this when I purchased them or when I photographed them under very bright light...but as I was packing them my finger nail felt a faint hairline. I then took them to a brightly lighted room under the lights and I saw the hairline. I have since learned that this is not uncommon due to age and hollow center for insert of metal knife blade. My prices are about 50% less than other offerings.

The steak knives feature a serrated tip. They measure 8.5" long. The design on both sides are outlined with gold. The cake knife measures 10" long. They are in excellent barely used condition. They have ever so slight usage rubs.
