Emilio Pucci was very popular in the 1960's and what made him so popular was the abstract print that he executed in many variations. He even designed a special HOME collection for SPRINGMAID. I had a velvet terry hand-towel that was from a print strike-off. I foolishly tossed it when I moved!
I had been a stylist there then..in the Morgan-Jones Division.
This light weight jersey print dress inspired by Emilio Pucci features a "V" neck, empire waist, and long fitted sleeves. It also features a long nylon zipper. The hem on the skirt and sleeves are hand sewn. The dress is in excellent condition. I cannot find a flaw. I suggest a cleaning since it has been stored for many years.
You will love the medium bright clear clean colors of the abstract print. Unfortunately, they do not photograph very well. The colors are: turquoise; aqua; violet; lavender; hot pink; red; green; white ; black; and 2 shades of gold. Since the fabric has so many colors it most likely was imported from Japan.
Here are the measurements:
SHOULDER TO SHOULDER...17"
NAPE OF NECK TO WAIST...13"
