Japan Ucago Lusterware Three Piece Dessert Set..October...Mums

This UCAGO THREE piece dessert set immediately caught my eye. The clusters of deep hand painted MUMS against the pronounced opalescent background really make it Special! The spray painted 22KT gold borders and decorative cup handle are in excellent condition along with the hand painted MUMS. There is a foil UCAGO label on the bottom of the dish and a COSMOS October imprinted in gold on the bottom of the cup. When I was preparing to photograph the three piece dessert set, I then noticed the small chip on the glaze on the inside of the top rim of the cup. I did not notice this when I purchased it. The lighting is usually poor or the sun is shinning in your eyes when many items are being purchased. Anyway, I am taking this chip in the glaze into consideration in the price for the set. You may see the chip in the photo attached. It is magnified so that it is visible. If this is displayed on a shelf, no one would notice the chip. ENJOY!
