Vintage ART DECO Chrome Penguin Bookends...Penguins Are Holding A Tray..Rare & Special!

While out shopping for vintage Designer clothing for my shop one corner of my eye spotted these ART DECO chrome bookends featuring penguins holding a tray for shot glasses. I did find many lovely designer vintage outfits...but I also came away with this pair of PENGUIN BOOKENDS that I thought to be VERY SPECIAL and they are also RARE. These Penguin Bookends made my day. I was holding them for now to put in my shop for a possible gift for that Special DAD!

The PENGUIN Bookends seem to have a chrome finish which is very good condition for its age with some of the chrome showing a matte shine. There is NO base metal showing through. They have a brass or alloy base and have weight. There does NOT seem to be any pitting to the metal which is excellent to report for their age. The base has the original fabric cover as photo.
