RARE..Victorian Bedspread...Ecru Net With Satin Embroidery..April.. Of Girl & Boy Gardening Plus Angels & Geometrics..Excellent Condition

RARE...VICTORIAN Bedspread made of starched ecru net with the heading APRIL in all 4 corners and boy & Girl Gardening with a hoe...plus ANGELS! The embroidery is either silk or rayon in a long satin stitch. The body of the spread features a scattering of embroidered geometric shapes. The edges are deeply scalloped with points. The edges are satin stitched embroidered. The bedspread measures approximately 95" long by 79" wide. It would look nice with a satin sheet underneath. The condition is excellent, especially for a bedspread this age!

This bedspread has come from the home of a dealer's Mother. The Italian velvet bedspread with the cherubs and the tortoise lucite purse with rhinestone trim was also from the same home. Both of these items are sold. I will continue to add more items from the same home......ENJOY!
