F. Thomas Sevres Bavaria Montone is the mark on this exquisite 10" in diameter, 2 ½" deep hand painted serving piece. One of a few quality porcelain and earthenware producers of the Bavaria, Selesia, Thuringia areas of pre WWII Germany. The date is around circa 1903 – 1940 and is in very good condition with no cracks, repairs or chips. There are a couple of tiny scratches. It is signed E. Muller in white on front of bowl. The colors and shading is done to perfection. The roses look so real that you want to pick them. Pinks, rose mauve reds, a touch of yellow and luscious greens is the color palette on this white porcelain bowl. It has a gold trimmed edge that has very little wear if any. This is truly a lovely piece that can be displayed or used at your next party.
