Vintage Metal Tin Black Box "Craven A"
This is such an interesting metal box with a hinged top with a divider on the inside. I don't know what this box used for but it also has a little inset on inside of cover. Check out the pictures. I believe that the previous owner hand painted the top and sides of original box. The flowers are blue with swirls of leaves in branches in greens. Over all size is 6 ¼" x 4 ¾" x 1 7/8". The bottom of box have inset rollers at each corner. The bottom has the Craven "A" signature and I believe this is from Holland maybe dating from the 1940's possibly earlier. Nice and interesting piece.
