This beautiful dress is made by `Linda" of California in the early 1950's. This fabulous brocade fabric is a rich gold and orange hue that can't be shown with a camera lens. I took quite a few pictures and they don't do the material justice. I believe this material is a heavy silk but not positive and there is no label to tell you what it is made of. Gown is not labeled as far as size either but I can wear this and I am a size 8. Bust is size 34", waist is 25", underarm (raglan sleeves) to hem 45", shoulder to hem is 54" with chocolate brown velvet belt being 2" wide and 68" in length. It is a gathered skirt with 2 pockets and a neck line that ties. Zipper down the front of the dress so it is easy on and off. There is a small hole in skirt (much like a moth hole) but you have to really have been looking for it to see it. Overall condition of dress is like new. You will feel like you have been thrown back in time when you put this very attractive garment on for the evening.
