Early Linen Baby Bonnet Circa 1900's
This early handmade linen baby bonnet measures 5 1/2" top to bottom and 5" front to back. The top is embroidered in pastel pink and white with a fleur-de-lis in the middle, two swirled branches with leaves below and a group of 5 cascading lines of 5 tiny dots above. Dainty lace surrounds entire bonnet with the back in a diamond shape. Pink ribbon ties the bonnet closed. Please look at pictures as they are part of my description.
Condition: Good. Fabric is strong but there is one tiny hole at top and some age discoloration. This does not take away from the bonnet at all. I did add the vintage pink ribbon ties circa 1960.
