Two Early Conta & Boehme Trinket Boxes Circa 1880s
Condition: As much as I'd love to tell you the trinket box is perfect I can't. The end of her boat is broken as is the end of her paddle. The truth of the matter is the box still displays well. It's not a break that is in your face notice me.
The second box is referred to as a miniature. It measures only 1 7/8" tall and 1 3/4" wide. It is a Victorian marble top table with draping. It has a teapot, creamer and one cup/saucer on top. The entire box is trimmed in gold. The lid is inscribed with the number 23.
Condition: Again I'd love to tell you this is perfect since it's such a rare size but it does have a chip off the rim. Please see picture for condition. With the lid on you don't even see it.
Because these boxes are not perfect they are priced accordingly.
As with all of my items they come from a smoke free home. Did you know that if you live in the US and purchase a second item priority shipping with insurance is free?
