Art Deco Handmade Pincushion Circa 1920s

As you can see by the pictures this art deco pincushion was lovingly handmade. The larger oblong shape is unusual and measures approximately 6" long and 4" wide. The peach satin material is trimmed in 3 layers of matching peach lace with a satin cord outline. The middle top of the pincushion has one spray of fabric flowers in pastel colors with straight pins all around the outer edge making it look like sequins. Black and white glass top pins decorate the top sides with multicolor glass top pins following in a second row. The bottom of the pincushion has all different size and color safety pins.

Condition: It looks as if it has never been used. I believe it was used for decoration only. Under the lace on top you can see where two pins are missing. It cannot be seen unless you lift the lace. Fabric is strong and clean.
