Golliwogg Air Ship Print Copyright 1902

This is an original page taken out of the book, "Golliwogg's Air Ship" by Florence and Bertha Upton, illustrated by Florence Upton. The book was published by Longmans, Green & Co 1902. The book had an oblong format of 8.5 X 11. This is actually page 23 to 26. It is a picture of Golly in the front of the air ship with two peg dolls already aboard. Two more dolls are not yet aboard, one doll is holding the ship down while one is running to catch up to it. I have shown both side of the print. Up until today I had no idea this was from the actual book. This print measures 8.5 X 22".

Condition: Great. The illustration has super color. No fading of any kind. No rips or tears. You can see the crease in the middle of the page where the book would have been stapled together. You can also see where the staple was. This does not detract from the picture at all.

This would be fantastic framed. I originally purchased this with the intention of having it framed and putting it in my doll room. I've since run out of wall space. This would make such a unique and special gift for any doll lover. While doing research on this item I saw that if you were to find and purchase the entire book it would be on average $800.00 As with all of my items this comes from a smoke free home.
