"Royal Engagement" (1928)

Swedish vintage photo card, published by Axel Eliasson, Stockholm. Depicting Crown Prince Olav (1901-1991) of Norway and Princess Maertha (1901-1954) of Sweden. They were engaged in 1928 and married in 1929. Olav, a grandson of Queen Victoria, became King of Norway in 1957. His wife, however, never became Queen, as she died in 1954.

Used, but not mailed. Excellent condition. Free shipping.
