Klingenberg, Limoges Chrysanthemums Cup & Saucer Set, Artist Signed

A charming little piece of A. Klingenberg Limoges china bearing the mark A K over D, France which dates it from the 1890s to 1910(Gaston 216, mark 7). Both cup and saucer are beautifully decorated with boldly colorful chrysanthemums and enameled gilt. Unusual to see mums of this sort on china - this makes a lovely standout set. The saucer, which is 5 1/2" wide, is signed J Greenwald on the bottom in gold ink or paint. The delicate little cup measures 3 5/8" across the brim and is 2" high. Fine translucent china. Heavy wear to the gilding on the saucer (shown); almost no wear to the gilding of the cup. There is a very small kiln pop in the cup.
