Delicate and lovely, 117 years old, this Pouyat, Limoges yellow rose demitasse set is the finest eggshell translucent porcelain. The artist's delicate work includes beautiful yellow roses on both cup and saucer and white enamel embellishments to the form's scroll work which make a thoughtfully blended design. Both pieces are marked with the Pouyat mark circa 1890-1932 (Gaston #5); saucer is signed and dated by the artist: "EMP, 4/97." Saucer measures 4.5" in diameter and cup is 2.25" across the brim. Both pieces are flawless.
