This lovely Victorian Flow Blue Serving Bowl is in the Fairy Villas pattern and was probably made by William Adams in Staffordshire, England around 1891. It is 10" across and 2 1/4" deep with a nice relief molded rim accented with gold sponge work. The center design features exotic Fairy Villas around a lake with a sailboat. The border has beautiful flowers and relief molded swirls and is very attractive. It is unmarked and in very good condition with no chips, cracks or crazing, but their is one place where the transfer did not take, and some faint scratches in the bottom of the bowl from use, you really have to look to find them, and they do not detract from the beauty of this piece.
