Vintage Yellow Ware Figural Rooster Egg Cup

This wonderful old Vintage Yellow Ware Figural Rooster Egg Cup is a rare find. It is hand painted with a purple luster comb, eye and wattle. The tail is green with gold sponge work and the rim and accents on the wings and feet are also green . These were produced in England in the 40s and are now very hard to find. There is a name written on the underside, either Fred or Freda Miller, I am not sure whether this was the decorator or the original owner. This rare little piece measures 3 3/4" long, 2 1/4" wide and 3" tall and is in excellent condition with no chips or paint loss, and the colors are still nice and bright. This would be the star of any collection of egg cups or yellow ware.
