This sweet little transfer decorated pottery miniature pitcher was bought on a recent trip to Michigan. It has a scene of Rural England showing a young lady looking out of a farm house window, which is hand painted over transfer and stands only 1 3/4' high by 2 1/2" wide, including the spout and handle. This carries the full factory mark for Midwinter Ltd. Burslem in Staffordshire, England. There is still a tattered note inside that says,"Curtis bought this from Okla. City Nov. 1949", it is always interesting to know some of the history of a piece. It is in good condition except for the usual light crazing, it has a hairline crack in the handle, which I did not see until I looked at the pictures, still a very attractive and collectible pitcher.
