Vintage Folk Art Woodpeckers Bottle Opener & Corkscrew,Signed

This is a very interesting old Folk Art Bottle Opener & Corkscrew, featuring hand carved Woodpeckers as the handles, and using a faux tree stump as the holder. It is hand painted and signed by the artist Narvick and was bought on a trip to Europe back in the 30s. It stands 7" tall by 2 1/4" at the base and 3 1/2" across including the birds. It has lost some of the paint over the years and one of the birds has a chip off one side of his tail but that is to be expected with an item of this sort. It could easily be touched up, but personally I prefer it this way. What a super conversation starter on your bar or drinks cart. Please be sure to click on photo for enlargement and more pictures so that you can really enjoy this lovely piece.
