British Royal Commemorative Mug, Coronation of George 6th

This nice old British Royal Commemorative Mug was made for the Coronation of King George 6th in 1937. It has excellent portraits of both George and Elizabeth, the late Queen Mother. They are flanked by the lion and the unicorn with flags in the background, with a blue banner beneath with their names. Above there is the royal crown and the date 1937, and on the back are the initials G. R.6th below the crown. The colors are fresh and bright and the mug is in excellent condition except for the normal wear to the gold around the rim. It is 3 3/4" high and 2 3/4 across at the rim.
