This precious little miniature Victorian porcelain cheese keeper, or covered cheese dish, is doll size or perhaps for a Victorian child who was having a tea party. It is Bohemian porcelain, made by Schmidt & Co., Altohlau, Bohemia in 1904 and is beautifully decorated with Roses, Pansies and Forget-me-nots. The tray has a scalloped rim, accented with gold, as is the handle. It measures 3" long by 21/4" wide and 21/4" high and is in excellent condition with no damage of any kind and the colors are still nice and bright. There is just a little wear to the gold, which is to be expected.
