We are pleased to offer this lovely Victorian pressed glass dish with a wheel cut intaglio design in the bottom featuring a cherub sitting on the branch of a tree, and playing his mandolin. It shows excellent detail of his beautiful face and curly hair, a very attractive scene. The dish has a scalloped rim with fleur-de-lis accents, above a diamond pattern. This charming dish is 5" wide and 1 ½" deep, from the mid to late 1800 hundreds, pretty enough to stand alone or a perfect dish for candy, nuts or after dinner mints. Please be sure to click on photo for enlargement and more pictures so that you can really enjoy this lovely piece and take a minute or two to check out some of our other treasures.
