Chintz Cup and Saucer Vintage 1940s
This lovely English china cup and saucer features an all over Chintz floral design with yellow and green flowers, with the leaves and vines in a very soft gray. The foot and rim of the cup are trimmed with double bands of gold, and nicely shaped handle is also accented with gold . This pretty china set, was made by Sampson Smith, Old Royal Bone China, in Staffordshire, England C1940, and the condition is very good, with light crazing on the saucer. The cup is 2 3/4" tall and the saucer is 5 1/2" across. A lovely addition to any collection. Be sure to click on photo for enlargement and more pictures.
