English Porcelain Butter Pat with Pink Roses

This dainty antique English Porcelain Butter Pat in the Conway pattern, has a very pretty scalloped shape with relief molded beading around the rim, which is hand painted with gold, and an inner border of scrolls. The main design features pretty pink Roses, and other smaller pink flowers, with delicate green leaves. It has a green printed mark used by W H Grindley, Tunstall, Staffordshire, England, C1914, which you will see in the pictures. It measures 3 1/4" across and is in excellent condition, with no damage except for light surface scratches from the butter knife. A really pretty piece of English porcelain, part of a large collection we purchased on our recent buying trip. Please be sure to click on photo for enlargement and more pictures so that you can really enjoy this lovely piece.
