This gorgeous Limoges Porcelain Butter Pat has a very ethereal design of Daisies, in white, pink and blue with fresh green leaves. It has a lavish hand painted gold relief molded decoration around the rim and is a fine quality porcelain. It was made by Charles Field Haviland, Limoges, France, with the GDA mark used from 1900-41, this would be from the earlier part of that period. It was made for Chas Meyer & Co. in Indianapolis, USA and measures 3 1/4" across, and in excellent condition with nice fresh colors and damage of any kind. There is a tiny rough spot where the glaze has missed, in one of the indents on the rim, easier to feel than to see, it would be original to the piece and does not detract in any way.
