This English Antique Pottery Butter Pat has a nice deep cobalt blue color with good flow. It has an attractive scalloped shape, with an even darker blue floral border, lined with gold. The center design features Dogwood or wild Roses. It is marked England, from 1880-1910, It measures 3 1/4" across and is in excellent original condition, with no chips or cracks, but it does have three peg marks on the face, from the firing process, and the gold is showing some wear. This pretty piece of Flow Blue is from a large collection we purchased on our recent buying trip.
