This lovely Antique English Butter Pat is in the "Gladys" pattern by Wedgwood, in Tunstal, Staffordshire, England, and has the mark with the lion and crown, stating that it is semi porcelain, that they used in the 1880s. It has a scalloped shape accented in gold. The blue floral design forms a wide border, in a good deep ink blue color. It measures 3" across and is in excellent condition, with no damage, just a little wear on the gold. A very pretty piece of Flow Blue from a collection we purchased on our recent buying trip.
