This flow blue pottery butter pat has a nicely scalloped shape and excellent flow. This is the "Candia" design by Cauldon Potteries, in Hanley, Staffordshire, England, between 1905 and 1920. They also did a polychrome version of this design. It measures 3 3/8" across and is in very good condition for its age with just light surface wear if you look very carefully. It is fully marked and there is also an impressed mark which I am unable to read. This was part of an extensive collection we purchased on our recent buying trip.
