This Rare 19th century Saltglazed Stoneware Inkwell is spillproof, with a funnel shaped opening, and is decorated in a dark inky blue design of flowers and shamrock. It is a dainty 1 5/8" high by 1 3/8" across the base, and in excellent condition with no damage of any kind, it was found in England and I believe it to be old Staffordshire. Certainly a very rare find and a great addition for any serious collector of inkwells.
