This lovely Antique Victorian English Fine China Trio has an ethereal design of dainty Hibiscus blossoms in pink and pale Lilac, hand painted over a transfer printed design. The rims and handle are accented with gold. This lovely old set was made by David Chapman in Longton, Staffordshire, England, and has the Registration number 205906, which would be 1893. It has survived for over 100 years, in amazingly good condition, no chips, cracks or crazing. The gold shows some wear, which is certainly to be expected, the design is perfect except for wear on a couple of leaves in the well of the saucer, where you don't see it. A lovely set for anyone who appreciates the beauty of antique china. The Cup stands 2 1/2" tall and 2 7/8" across the rim, the plate is 7" across.
