Victorian English Cut Glass Pedestal Egg Cup

This lovely old English Victorian Cut Crystal Pedestal Egg Cup, has a very intricate and well cut design. It features beautiful facet cut diamonds with a smaller diamond in the center, each of which is divided into 16 very tiny diamonds. The rest of the design is also based on diamonds and triangles. The rim is gently scalloped and the lower half of the cup and the foot are cut panels. This is a truly stunning egg cup with lots of life and sparkle, from the late 1800s. It measures 2" tall by 1 3/4"across at the rim, the condition is excellent except for a tiny flake under the foot, certainly nothing to worry about after over 100 years.
