19th Century Victorian Lady's Mini Box with MOP Top

This 19th Century Victorian Lady's Box is Silver metal, with a bulbous shape, topped by a Mother of Pearl screw on lid. It measures a very dainty 1 1/8" across and stands only 1/2" high. It may have been for rouge or patches, one can never be sure. The condition is excellent except that I have not been able to take off the top, it appears to be stuck and I didn't want to force it, but I have priced it accordingly. A very nice addition to any collection of Boxes or Victoriana. Please be sure to click on photo for enlargement and more pictures.
