Blue and White Transferware with Horses Lid

This is a nice old piece of English Blue and White transferware, which features two horses running free, with a man on horseback in hot pursuit. This lid or cover measures 4 1/2" across and 1 7/8" high, it is in very good original condition, with no chips or cracks just the light all over crazing to be expected in old pottery. This piece is unmarked but is probably late 19th century English. These transfer lids make an attractive wall display when used between plates to add dimension.
