This vintage footed, covered serving bowl was made by Adderleys Ltd. in Staffordshire. England between 1929 & 47. It has a very nice classic design with swags of bell flowers and beads linking cartouches and accented with narrow bands of gold and a wider one of hand painted apple green. The handles are relief molded leaves with elegant touches of gold It measures 10" across at the handles and 5 3/4" tall and is in very good condition except for a little light crazing on the lid. You really have to look carefully to see it and there is none on the bowl. I also have the matching platter listed. Please be sure to click on photo for enlargement and more pictures.
