These two, vintage crate labels are advertising pears and would be great for framing and hanging. I believe these are from the 1950’s.
One is for Blue Goose Pears. The colorful, blue and orange label shows that the pears were distributed by American National Foods, Inc. of Los Angeles. It measures about 7 ¼” by 10 ½” and is in nice condition with light creases and edge wear.
The other label is for American Maid Brand Placer County Mountain Pears which were also distributed by the American National Foods. It has a blue silhouette of a young girl in a large hat with a bright orange background. It measures about 10 1/2” by 7 1/4” and is in nice condition with light edge and scuff wear. Two corners are creased.
Priced and sold as the pair.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
