These two, vintage crate labels are featuring Idaho apples and would be great for framing and hanging. I believe these are from the 1940’s.
One is for Hillcrest Brand Idaho Apples - Grown & Shipped by The Talcott Orchards of Caldwell, Idaho. A couple of nice looking apples are shown on the left with snow capped mountains behind the orchard of trees. It measures about 10 3/16” by 3 3/4” and is in very nice condition with minimal edge wear.
The other is for Nampaho Idaho Apples Packed and Shipped by J.C. Sewell Produce Co. Inc. of Nampa Idaho. There’s a nice view of farmland with snow covered mountains in the background and three large apples on this colorful paper label. It measures about 3 ¾” by 10 3/8” and is in fairly nice condition. The colors are bright but there are two tears along the bottom edge and two torn off corners beside the minor crease and edge wear.
Priced and sold as the pair.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
