This is old stereoptic card is from the Keystone View Company. It has a beautiful shot of stone towers that are part of the castle built in the late 1200’s by Edward I of England, now referred to as Conwy Castle. When viewed through a stereoscope viewer, the two identical pictures on the card merge as one and give the illusion of being 3-D. The back of the card has an historic description of the picture on the front with the heading; Conway Castle, A Medieval Fortress, Conway, Wales.
It measures about 3 3/8” by 7” and is in very good condition with minimal wear. This card has a natural curve to it so it does not lie flat as shown in the photograph.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
