This porcelain plate, with a typically Victorian design of roses, is a vintage advertising plate. Below the cluster of flowers it faintly reads; Compliments of The Englewood Mer. Co. Englewood, Kans.. The designs are transfer applied and there gold accent designs around the perimeter. It has a colorful lustred, slightly scalloped edge. It may have been made in Germany or Austria, the back is only marked; Imperial China and is probably from the early 1900’s.
It measures about 7” in diameter and is in nice condition with light wear and no damage. Specifically the boarder color show scratch wear.
