Old, Sterling Silver, Demitasse Spoon with Enameled Flowers

This vintage demitasse spoon is made of sterling silver with a delicate spray of flowers enameled on the handle. There are four blue flowers with yellow centers and two green leaves tied together at the base with a coral and white bow. The stems are chased or tooled and there is a small tooled design just above the shank where it begins to spiral to the bowl. The back of the handle is engraved with the name or month “May” and the shank is marked Sterling”. The top of the handle appears to have a very faint gold wash.

It measures about 4 ¼” long and is in very good condition with minimal wear and discoloration and no damage to the enamel.
